Heusch is the world’s oldest manufacturer of textile and leather processing blades and has been supplier of the world-wide textile and leather industry since 1850.
For four generations it has been our company’s objective to innovate and produce precision blades which meet our customers’ demands and expectations. Our products and services contribute to the success of our customers both in the finishing industry and the machine construction sector.

Textiles & Carpet
Our products are subject to a permanent quality control and to continuous further development, which we are able to achieve by complementing our own experience in their practical application with the new demands made on the blades by our customers.

Leather & Fur Due to the production methods used by us we can offer all blade types (all-steel and compound steel) and dimensions required in the world market. Even blades of unusual dimensions in small quantities can be delivered with- in a short time. Depending on the application and technical state of the cylinder grooves you may choose among cross-sec- tions with a height between 32 and 45 mm, and a thickness be- tween 2 and 4 mm.

Quality & Service
If requested, any repair of blade cylinders or reblading operation is executed in our factory at Aachen.
In particular, we recommend the ready-to-cut lapping of shearing units in the textile sector. For our customers this means minimum costs and optimum performance of their shearing machinery. Our field service technicians work in all parts of the world and are familiar with all operations whatever machine type or system may be concerned. They are able to give technical advice if any problems occur in connection with shearing techniques.
